Well where can I began. It has been many years. I was a student at Pitt Titusville in September 1978. Iam from Glassboro NJ. 3 out of of my professors. Where prejudice, something I was not tough in my house hold. The Town s people where the same. It was a terrible place and the never ever recommend anybody else any other nationality to do there
I am a current freshman at UPT. I don't like this campus at all. The people are nice and some of the faculty are really nice. Although the town is very boring the closest thing to do is 45 min to an hour away. The cafe closes at 6:30 pm and all of the food places around here close pretty early. If you are looking for a college that has great academics and a lot of fun. This Campus is NOT for YOU. DON'T COME. Also they don't offer all of the courses you need if you are planning on transferring into Pitt Main.
I signed up for a continuing ed class. I waited for a confirmation with information on where the classes will be. My class was to start on Sept 16th, Tuesday, and as of Sept 12th, Friday, I still have not received confirmation. I called the university and was advised to call the Bradford branch. When I spoke to someone there, she said that they don't send out confirmations if the application is sent by mail. If the application was via email, then they will send a confirmation. I would suggest that whether snail mail or email application, a confirmation should be sent to the student. That only makes good common sense, good business and professionalism.
Literally the worst place on the planet. Don't send your kids here. Don't stay for more than a semester if you can help it. Transfer out as soon as possible. Essentially it's a community college. Only thing for kids to do is drink. The nearest greyhound station is 30 minutes away. The nearest amtrak and airport is an hour away in Erie. Just don't do it unless you like the essence of nothingness and rural areas with few people of color.
This is college. Not a vacation. Its a great opportunity to further your education in a historic small town. Its all in your priorities, not for party's. The facilities are very easy to navigate with short walks between building's. Key words : your there to learn.
